United Way of Windham County helps bring HOPE to Windham County by mobilizing the caring power of the community.  United Way of Windham County works to advance the common good by focusing on HOPE - health, opportunity, prosperity and education.

We recruit people and organizations from all across the community who bring passion, expertise and resources needed to get things done, and we need you to join us. You can give, you can advocate and you can volunteer. When we work together in common purpose, we LIVE UNITED!

United Way of Windham County is a catalyst for the creation of community solutions by working closely with the providers and other stakeholders to meet our constantly changing local challenges.

The United Way of Windham County is a private, non-profit, volunteer organization that has been dedicated to uniting the entire community in addressing the human care needs of Windham County since 1958. The United way of Windham County (UWWC) is overseen by a dedicated board of directors. The organization benefits from the commitment of over 450 volunteers who serve on boards and committees, and represent United Way in the community at large. As the largest non-governmental fundraiser for human services in our area, we mobilize the community to provide the financial and non-monetary resources needed to build a better community. Through relationships with volunteers, donors, service providers, businesses, and other stakeholders, United Way ensures the quality solutions are available for people when they need them. Together, we solve community needs that affect families and children and assure a viable community-wide, human-service infrastructure.
