For more than forty years, Youth Services has been many things to many people-from helping homeless youth transition out of life on the streets-to providing parenting support-to rehabilitating and reintegrating people who have made a mistake and want to rebuild their lives.
Our reach is broad and accessible, and we are effective and efficient with proven outcomes. We strive to ensure all clients receive services, regardless of their inability to pay.
What We Do
Youth Development - We support young people experiencing trauma, homelessness, or distress with our services ranging from emergency and transitional housing, life skills training and health and parent classes.
Mentoring - Our evidenced-based Big Brothers Big Sisters program matches children with volunteer mentors at schools, in the community or at the workplace.
Justice Services - To help repair harm, we use a balanced and restorative justice approach. Interventions include victim and pretrial services, court diversion for youth and adults, youth substance abuse and safety, supervised visitation, and help with driver's license suspensions.
